me, myself and I have – selfportraits in isolation

Having worked with indoors photographic selfportraits the last 5 years already, I wondered if anyone as an artist would be better equipped to navigate through this crisis than me. But soon enough I discovered that the absence of a future, especially for being reliant to travelling, took a rough toll on me mentally. Questions that were supposed to be answered already, something like "what are you doing this for?", arose again and almost paralysed me.
I found comfort in writing and returning to the roots where my photography came from. Searching for plays of light and for figures and shapes with a body was a repetition of a game that I used to play for so long and gave me a tiny bit of security in a time where almost everything else is uncertain.
