They are worlds under glass, closed jars where life flows without even being aware of being trapped.
The new pictorial cycle of Raba combines aspects of his previous production with a greater and deeper attention to the concept. Made of mixed technique and acrylic, the works tell the identity of this world inside a glass jar. His cities are colored with new elements, designed, studied, and very well made, which are natural and artificial at the same time.
This latest work, "No One Around" from the Jar Worlds series, wanted to highlight how much the cities, buildings and houses have brightened up in the past months because of this world situation that has stopped the way we were used to live.
This created an atmosphere never seen before, seeing an entire building "lighted" and hearing people, families inside talking, playing, laughing, cooking, or watching tv created a new habitat full of life and energy, and this made me see it all from a different perspective.
